When prayers seem unanswered, we may question if God hears us. The Bible tells us that He does. The apostle John exhorts people to approach God with faith rather than fear in 1st John.
Prayers that are in line with God's will are heard and answered. How do we know what His will is? His will is in line with requests that are consistent with what the Bible teaches. Patience and constant prayer are necessary in the face of uncertainty.
It's common to characterize God's answers as "yes," "no," or "wait." While waiting, scripture promises to provide consolation, even in the absence of a definitive response.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
