A 25-year-old guy scaled the wall of a private daycare in Blumenau, a city in the state of Santa Catarina, on Wednesday. According to the local Hospital Santo Antonio, once inside, he killed four children aged four to seven and wounded numerous more.

According to police, the attacker has been apprehended. The incident occurs more than a week after a 13-year-old pupil carried out a stabbing assault in a Sao Paulo school, killing a teacher and injuring five others.
