MSI later released their live CD, "Alienating Our Audience," in 2002, with Lyn-Z on bass. Lyn-Z quickly became famous for her energetic onstage performances. From her signature schoolgirl attire of short skirts, fishnet stockings, and high heels to outrageous stage dives and incredible back-bending guitar skills, Lyn-Z did it all! In fact, her backbends quickly rose to the top of MSI's performances.
Numerous A-list musicians and bands used MSI as their opening act, while the band often had well-known groups open for them. Lyn-Z originally met her future husband, Gerard Way, from the band "My Chemical Romance," during one of these opening performances in 2003.
