God is shown to answer prayersover and over again in the Bible. Abraham and Sarah's wish for a child; David and Solomon's prayers for safety and wisdom; and so on. God may not always answer prayers the way we want, but know that He loves you and wants what's best for you.
Do you pray for a spouse, but you just broke up with someone?
Do you need to get better, but your healthhasn't gotten better in a year? Do you need to be taken care of, but bills and other financial needs keep coming?

The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
Isaiah 65:24
Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.
1 Kings 3:5

Zechariah 13:9
And I will bring the third part through the fire, refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people, and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’

1 John 5:15

Jeremiah 29:12-13
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jesus taught, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find” (Matthew 7:7). When you are sincerely striving to obey God's commandments, He will give you answers to your prayers, and you will be ready to receive them. God “heareth the prayer of the righteous” (Proverbs 15:29).
People have said that there are three ways God can answer prayers. You get what you ask for when God says "Yes." When God says "No," you have to accept it and move on. Or God says "Not yet," so you learn to be patient and wait.
Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayers and giving me what my heart wants today. Glory to God in the highest heaven and on earth, and may my heart and lifealways be at peace. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you," Jesus says to all of us (Matt 7:7). A lot of Christians don't wait for God to answer their prayers because they think He isn't listening. But the Bible verses above show that God does listen to prayers.
The Apostle John was completely confident about answered prayer (1st John 5:14-15) so do “not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Phil 4:6).
Today, many people are in trouble but God’s promise is the same to any people; however if you aren’t abiding in Jesus’ words on a daily basis, His Word is not abiding in you every day.
